Kolibri Pro for macOS

The window itself moves.

You already paid for this. Buy Kolibri on the Mac App Store, then run Pro instead. The window follows the pointer, contents and all.

The store build

An outline follows. The window waits.

Apple's sandbox will not let a Mac App Store app move another app's windows while you drag. Kolibri on the store draws an outline that tracks the pointer. Let go, and the window snaps into place.

That is the legal path, not a missing feature. The outline is calm, and it works. If you want the window itself under your hand, you need a build that is not sandboxed.

Kolibri. An outline follows. The window lands when you let go.

Kolibri Pro

The window follows. You see it move.

Kolibri Pro. The window itself follows the pointer.

Pro is not sandboxed. It moves the window through the Accessibility API, contents visible. No companion shortcut. No Automation prompt. No snap at the end. A preference, on by default, shows the contents while they move. Turn it off and you get the outline back.

How to switch

Buy once. Run this.

There is no extra charge and no license key. Pro reads the App Store receipt on this Mac and then gets out of the way.

  1. Buy Kolibri on the Mac App Store

That receipt is the license. Install the store app and leave it on the Mac. Pro will not launch without it.

    Open the App Store

  2. Download Kolibri Pro here

Developer ID signed and notarized. Drop it in Applications. This is a direct download, not a store build.

    Go to the download

  3. Quit the store app. Run Pro.

Pro checks the receipt, then lives in the menu bar like Kolibri. Same modifiers. Same preferences. The window itself moves.

If Pro refuses to launch, Kolibri is missing on this Mac, or the receipt belongs to another machine. Download Kolibri from the App Store again here.

Direct download

The notarized build will live here.

Buy Kolibri on the App Store first, so the receipt is waiting. The Pro zip lands on this page once it is signed, notarized, and stapled.

The Pro zip is not up yet.

macOS 13 or later. Keep the App Store copy installed. No account, no key, no network license check.
